ProMo-Cymru teaches communication and marketing skills after successful tender to Monmouthshire Council

Monmouthshire Council were looking for someone to deliver training to local community groups and volunteers, and ProMo-Cymru fitted their brief with our ethos of cooperative working and using skills to benefit and support groups.

We created two bespoke training courses:

Effective Social Media – An introduction for those starting to engage with audiences on social media. Focusing on two main platforms, Facebook and Twitter, to understand the benefits, demystify some of the jargon and learn how to stand out.

Marketing Through Social Media – For groups wanting to increase and engage a larger audience on their established social media platform. Getting hands on with all the best free tools to manage your accounts easier and create professional, engaging content. Delving into the world of analytics to identify audiences, learn what works and what doesn’t and how to use this data to create better grant and funding applications.

“Both tutors, aside from being very experienced, demonstrated a wide range of delivery methods to suit different learning styles. We were particularly impressed with the differentiation achieved for learners of differing backgrounds in the topic. Courses are well planned, expertly delivered and communication is consistently excellent.” – Owen Wilce, Monmouthshire Council
