Established for 30 years, ProMo-Cymru has developed the reputation of providing innovative solutions to and with young people and communities in Wales.
ProMo-Cymru is looking to recruit committed and passionate new members for its board of Trustees to contribute and support its development.
The board meets five times a years and may sometimes provide support on other occasions.
Trustees are volunteers, although travel and other expenses are covered.
ProMo-Cymru is a registered charity and has a wholly owned trading subsidiary, ProMo-Cymru Trading Limited.
Currently ProMo-Cymru delivers:
FamilyPoint – The National Family Voices and Advocacy Helpline Service for families in Wales. This utilised the integrated communications model that ProMo-Cymru has developed that provides a number of avenues for families to get information and provide support to families in Wales.
Ebbw Vale Institute (EVi) – ProMo-Cymru has resurrected EVi from dereliction and has created a peoples’ cultural centre in the heart of Ebbw Vale. The ownership of EVi has been transferred to ProMo-Cymru following a successful Community Asset Transfer application to the Big Lottery and Welsh Government.
Meic – ProMo-Cymru delivers Wales’ helpline for children and young people.
ProMo-Cymru also delivers a range of support and consultancy services.
