During half-term in February, ProMo-Cymru supported 14 young carers from Ceredigion to make a short video to raise awareness about what they do. This video will be shown to young people, professionals and other organisations working with young people.  It will also encourage other young carers to access the support that is there for them.

Commissioned by British Red Cross in Ceredigion, the video juxtaposes the types of lives they dream of having with the lives they are leading now with.

Young carers from Ceredigion were involved during the three days of planning and filming.  They had the opportunity to gain the wider key skills of Working with Others, Improving Own Learning and Performance and Problem Solving, and completed an Agored Cymru accreditation in Video Stories Level 2, earning three credits.
