Although it played host to Wales’ grand slam success on the 17th of March, the Millennium Stadium also hosted another important function, the Value of Youth Work in Wales Conference.

The conference, held on March 7th 2012, was held to provide those in the Welsh youth work sector a chance to come together and look at the values of youth work and discuss its direction for the nation.

Leighton Andrews, Minister for Education and Skills, was among the speakers at the event, along with Chris Tweedale, Director, Schools and Young People Group, Dr Brett Pugh, Head of School Standards Unit, and others.

CLIC also attended the event, filming and interviewing speakers and attendees about the importance of youth work.
