ProMo-Cymru has recently joined ERYICA – the European Youth Information and Counselling Agency and attended their 22d Annual General Assembly and 25th Anniversary celebration in Opatija, Croatia.

Meeting partners from across Europe to develop links and share best practice there are a number of developments that CLIC is linking with:

• Utilising the recently developed toolkit for youth information workers, ‘Guide to Safety and Quality Online’ which was presented at the General Assembly. This tailor-made information guide for youth information will be utilised in the development of the National Information and Quality Standards for Wales
• A ‘Peer to Peer’ conference and project in Antwerp in Belgium in November where we hope to take along one or two young people
• ‘Yintro Train the Trainers’ course in Finland – Yintro is an ERYICA training module that provides an introduction to youth information work
• Publicising a future campaign across Europe highlighting young people’s rights and access to them

In addition to this we are planning to make comparisons with partner organisations across Europe to discover areas of best practice for CLIC and Meic to find suitable partners for a youth exchanges.
