A report recently published by the Meic Helpline has highlighted the success of partnership working and demonstrated the need for such a service to provide advocacy, information and advice to children and young people in Wales aged 0 – 25.

Managed by the Cywaith consortium of partnering organisations (led by ProMo-Cymru), Meic delivers a universal advocacy helpline, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, underpinned by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the National Advocacy Standards.

The report released details of the journey of the service over the last 4 years and the hopes of what is to come for an ever-growing service much needed by children and young people in Wales.
