Meic attended the 8th Eurochild Annual Conference Thursday 1st December. The conference was held at Mercure Holland House in Cardiff between the Wednesday 30th November 2011 and Friday 2nd of December 2011.

As a service providing information, support, advice and advocacy to children and young people between the ages of 0 – 25 years across Wales, the Meic team comes into daily contact with children and young people suffering the effects of poverty both personally and within their local and wider communities. The Meic team met and networked with other like-minded professionals on the day to promote the service.

Eurochild is a European network of organisations promoting the rights and welfare of children in Europe. The 8th annual conference looked at how family support impacts on children’s well-being and outcomes.
