Informed Families Project

by promocymru_admin | 1st Aug 2014

We are very pleased to have had the news that our application for the Informed Families Project had been successful.

Funded by the Welsh Government Children and Families Delivery Grant, the Informed Families Project will be delivering an all-Wales, bilingual online information and communications solution for families, placing how they prefer to receive and give information at the heart of the service.

The model has built-in capacity to work at a local, regional and national level. It will provide access via multiple platforms to ensure families most in need of financial and practical support have reliable access to information, regardless of location, socio-economic circumstances, and also have their say.

The project will also allow services and agencies that work with families to share their information and resources.

We will be discussing developments across Wales with the relevant services, including the Families Information Services, to help us mould the project.

We will be working with our partners – Action for Children and Diverse Cymru – to ensure we can create effective communication with all families. We will also be liaising with Children in Wales.
