The twenty-year-old from Pontypridd has been part of the CLIC project since his week-long work experience placement with ProMo-Cymru in late January 2009. Since then, he has written many articles for both CLIC and has been heavily involved in Wicid, the local CLIC website for Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Gareth’s main interests are in new media. He has made and edited many videos with other young people in the CLIC network while also creating web banners for Wicid.
To realise his ambitions of becoming a web designer, Gareth is studying BSc Creative Technologies (Multimedia) at the Cardiff campus of the University of Glamorgan, where he’ll develop skills in video, sound and web production. He has also collaborated with many local young people on making music.
