The Eisteddfod is a celebration of the Welsh language and culture as well as a showcase of young, Welsh talent.

CLIC was reporting from the Urdd National Eisteddfod 2011, one of Europe’s largest youth cultural festivals, from 30 May to 4 June, with Swansea being the host county this year.

Staff and young people from various local editorial groups were based there all week to film, photograph and write news stories. The CLIC team also went around the site handing out brightly coloured wristbands, badges, stickers, pens and CLICzines to festival-goers, and introducing them to the CLIC project.
