Tim joins ProMo Cymru as an Information and Support Coordinator at Ebbw Vale Institute (EVI). He brings with him over a decade of experience working for two disability organizations, where he provided information, advice, and advocacy, including managing a team of Welfare Benefit Caseworkers.  

Before this, Tim spent ten years working for Social Services departments, developing a deep understanding of the support needs within the community. Earlier in his career, he trained as a teacher and worked for two years in a Special School in Cardiff.   

At Ebbw Vale Institute, Tim leads our advice and guidance service, assisting with benefit checks and cost-of-living support. He also leads the Multiply project, helping adults develop numeracy skills to support their children, and themselves. Additionally, Tim coordinates various other projects and general operations at EVI. He looks forward to leveraging his experience to benefit the community.
