Training young people in radio presenting and producing

ProMo Cymru has been working on an exciting project with the Wales Millennium Centre to develop a youth-led radio station. Our role is to train and support young people through a 6 week accredited course.

During the course the young people learn skills in broadcast journalism, presenting, interviewing, editing and using a studio. We work with budding presenters to host their own shows and encourage them to have a voice on what matters to them. Those who complete the course gain ACU accreditations in ‘Preparing to Present Radio Broadcasting’.

If you’re interested in developing a tailored youth training programme, please get in touch.
