Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Abacus had to close its doors on 18-20 Wood St on 18 December 2015 and is now working on finding its next and more permanent home.

The closing party was attended by over 500 people throughout the night and the walls were filled with photographs of the many exhibitions, nights, events and workshops that the Abacus has held over the past 18 months.

The project has made a huge impact on the community, offering an accessible space for people to explore, collaborate, create and develop ideas.

We are looking forward to what’s next.
