ProMo-Cymru puts people and communities at the heart of all its services, whether creating an online platform and editorial training for young people to express their views, upskilling professionals in the use of social media to transform their service delivery, or taking over and developing a building to create a cultural space in the community. Community asset transfer Ebbw Vale Institute was standing empty for two years and attracting antisocial behaviour. Through partnership working with Blaenau Gwent council and consultation with local residents, EVi has regenerated the area and become a cultural and business hub for the community.
We ensure that community voices are at the heart of our service design so that their needs are met. We value collaborative working as a way of utilising a broad range of strong skills. Our doors are always open to innovative ideas from potential and established partners who we work with to bring projects to life.
The Abacus (originally Cardiff Bus offices) is established as one of Cardiff’s most creative venues. Managed jointly with artists The Modern Alchemists, The Abacus hosts public and private events and hires office space, band rehearsal rooms and artist studios.
Engaging with Social GroupsGood decisions are only reached when all voices are heard and their views valued. We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt our approach, language and resources to ensure the needs of our customer and their clients are met.
Events ManagementWe provide strategic advice, supply staging and PA systems, prepare multimedia presentations, design and mail out invitations, manage the guest lists, source suitable venues within your budget, provide photography, video and PR and run your events on the day.
